Conference Summary: Insight and Vision - Full Spinal Endoscopic Fusion Technology Seminar, Mianyang Station

On March 30, 2024, the "Full Spine Endoscopic Fusion Technology Seminar" organized by the Minimally Invasive Group of the Orthopedic Committee of the Sichuan Medical Association and hosted by the Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital was successfully held. This conference was fully supported by the Dabo Medical Group and SPINENDOS Academy, with the theme "Understanding the Micro, Seeing the Far, Walking with the Mirror," focusing on orthopedic minimally invasive fusion technology, and deeply discussing the application of spinal minimally invasive fusion in the orthopedic field. With the joint efforts of all parties, the conference achieved great success and had a far-reaching impact. Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital is the first stop of the theme "Understanding the Micro, Seeing the Far, Walking with the Mirror," and in the future, Dabo Medical, SPINENDOS, and Donghong Zhiyuan will work together to hold a series of activities nationwide every month.
This conference was honored to invite Professor Kong Qingquan from the Tibet Chengban Branch of West China Hospital and Professor Li Kainan from the Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University to serve as the conference chairmen. Professor Xie Shiming and Professor Qing Peidong from Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital served as executive chairmen, and Professor Jiang Xiaobing from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University was specially invited to attend the conference. At the same time, well-known domestic experts were invited to give special academic lectures on new theories, new knowledge, new technologies, and clinical practices in the fields of spinal minimally invasive and minimally invasive fusion, gathering and colliding the most cutting-edge surgical concepts and basic research progress, allowing orthopedic colleagues to broaden their academic horizons and promote the rapid development of orthopedic undertakings in China.
This conference adopted a combination of online live streaming and on-site meetings. Experts shared and discussed issues such as the indications for spinal minimally invasive fusion technology, case selection, and surgical techniques through special lectures, live surgery demonstrations, and case sharing, allowing participants to intuitively understand the practical application of spinal minimally invasive fusion technology and experience the new heights of spinal minimally invasive fusion surgery. A total of 56,000 people watched the surgery live online, and the response was enthusiastic.

02 Surgical Live Demonstration
The most exciting and eye-catching part of the conference was undoubtedly the live surgical demonstration broadcasted online. Through "5G+4K" live streaming technology, online physician colleagues and conference representatives watched in real-time the surgical demonstrations performed by Professor Kong Qingquan's team from the Tibet Chengban Branch of West China Hospital, Professor Jiang Xiaobing's team from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University, and Professor Qing Peidong's team from Mianyang Orthopedic Hospital, and provided comments and exchanges. This live broadcast attracted 56,000 people online to learn and observe the entire surgical process as if they were present. Three live surgeries of full spine endoscopic fusion technology were conducted, with the lead experts explaining while operating, showcasing their skills in multiple perspectives and images, and synchronizing audio and video information for two-way communication, presenting a vivid and realistic teaching scene for the participants. Throughout the demonstration, the surgical team's tacit cooperation, innovative technical design, and agile and smooth technical performance provided a visual feast for every guest present and online.
