On August 17, 2024, the third advanced anatomy course on spinal endoscopic minimally invasive technology was successfully held at the headquarters of the Dabo Group in Xiamen. This forum was hosted by the China Medical Equipment Association and organized by Dabo Medical, SPINENDOS, and Donghong Zhiyuan. This meeting is the third in a series of training sessions on spinal endoscopic minimally invasive technology organized by Dabo Medical, aimed at further improving medical diagnosis and treatment levels, promoting the integration of medical resources, and providing a comprehensive and multi-level communication platform for clinical doctors to jointly promote the development and progress of minimally invasive spinal surgery in China. The meeting invited well-known experts and scholars in the field of spinal minimally invasive surgery from all over the country. The meeting included academic presentations, surgical video explanations, live animal operations, and other forms, conducting extensive and in-depth discussions and exchanges around the latest developments in orthopedics and related disciplines, as well as cutting-edge technologies and product applications in spinal minimally invasive surgery. Next, Professor Rui Gang from the First Affiliated Hospital of Xiamen University delivered a speech. This meeting invited well-known experts in the field of orthopedics in China to give academic lectures on new theories, new knowledge, new technologies, and clinical practices in various specialties of orthopedics. Zhou Qi from the Education Department of Dabo Medical introduced the orthopedic clinical technology training base of the China Medical Equipment Association. It has independently built the Dabo Education Research Institute Academic Education Center, with a total construction area of 5,500 m² and an investment of over 15 million; it has invited many top experts in the field of spinal surgery from home and abroad to provide systematic and practical course content for clinical clients from various aspects, including theoretical lectures, surgical video explanations, live animal hands-on training, and cadaver specimen operations, focusing on the pain points and difficulties of surgery. It offers academic courses such as spinal OILF lateral fusion, spinal intervertebral foramen endoscopy, spinal osteotomy, en bloc total vertebral resection for spinal tumors, and anterior cervical approach ACAF. It is currently the first orthopedic skills training base in China certified by the China Medical Equipment Association and the only orthopedic brand capable of conducting live animal operations, strictly following clinical surgical aseptic and medical norms to reproduce the entire process of complex and difficult surgeries, creating high-level live animal practical courses that effectively shorten the learning curve for orthopedic clinical experts.

After the opening ceremony, academic exchange activities began in earnest. Six well-known domestic experts in the field of spinal minimally invasive surgery took turns to give speeches, imparting cutting-edge academic knowledge and sharing surgical skills.

In the afternoon of the meeting, live animal operation training for spinal endoscopic minimally invasive surgery with different surgical approaches officially began. This training comprehensively adopted live animal operations, strictly following clinical surgical aseptic and medical norms, reproducing the entire process of complex and difficult surgeries, creating high-level live animal practical courses that effectively shorten the learning curve for orthopedic clinical experts.
This live animal training class was conducted by Professor Rui Gang, Professor Hu Baoshan, Professor Li Haijun, Professor Bian Yanyan, Professor Chu Lei, Professor Jiang Xiaobing, and Professor Chen Ruishong, who provided operational demonstrations, allowing students to complete standardized surgical practice and better master spinal endoscopic related techniques through operational demonstrations and hands-on guidance.
